3. For connection to a DGE-2 or DVPHD via DigitalMedia 8G+ (DM 8G+

), use a DM 8G+

receiver (DM-RMC-SCALER-C) at the touch screen location, and a DM 8G+ transmitter

(DM-TX-201-C) at the DGE-2 or DVPHD. For connection to a DM switcher, any type of DM

receiver may be used provided the receiver includes a USB HID host port. Besides DM 8G+,

Crestron offers other ways to extend HDMI and USB signals. Consult the Crestron Website or

contact a Crestron representative for additional options.

4. For DigitalMedia 8G+ (DM 8G+) wiring, use Crestron DM-CBL-8G DigitalMedia 8G Cable

or third-party CAT5e (or better) UTP or STP. The maximum wire length for DM 8G+ is 330 ft

(100 m). Refer to the Crestron DigitalMedia Design Guide, Doc. #4546 for DM system design

guidelines.

5. Accessing Netflix content requires an active Netflix account. See www.netflix.com for details.

6. DVPHD does not support audio, streaming media, Web browsing, or other embedded PC

functionality.

7. The HDMI input requires an appropriate adapter or interface cable to accommodate a DVI

signal. CBL-HD-DVI interface cables are available separately.

8. The DisplayPort input only supports native DisplayPort signals. To connect an HDMI source

to this input, an active HDMI-to-DisplayPort converter must be used. The DisplayPort input

automatically overrides the HDMI input when a DisplayPort signal is connected.
